Frequently asked questions

How do I save something to NexTodo from my iPhone?
  1. In Safari, YouTube, Instagram, Maps or any app with a Share button, tap Share.
  2. Choose NexTodo. If you don't see it, swipe the app row to the end, tap More and turn NexTodo on.
  3. Pick Do, Buy, Go or Later. The item is saved and the sheet closes — you don't need to open the app.

The item appears in your Inbox the next time you open NexTodo. If you shared while offline, it is kept on your phone and saved to your account as soon as you are back online.

How do I turn on notifications?

iPhone and Android app

Open the More tab → Notifications and turn on Push notifications, then allow notifications when your phone asks. If you declined earlier, turn them on in your phone's Settings → Notifications → NexTodo.

Web

Open Settings → Notification preferences and click Turn on notifications, then allow them in your browser. On iPhone or iPad, web notifications work only after you add NexTodo to your Home Screen (in Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen, iOS 16.4 or later) and open it from there.

Notifications are optional. You can choose which reminders you get, set quiet hours, and use private mode, which hides item titles in notifications.

Can I buy NexTodo Pro?

Not yet. NexTodo is free to use and NexTodo Pro is not available for purchase, so there is nothing to pay or cancel. If Pro is offered in the future, it will be an in-app subscription through the App Store or Google Play. See our Pricing and Refund Policy.

What do you do with my data?

Your content is used only to run NexTodo. We don't sell it, show ads or use tracking tools. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Deleting your data or account

You can delete your data or your whole account yourself, at any time, inside NexTodo:

Next to it you will also find Delete my NexTodo data, which removes all of your NexTodo content and files but keeps your login.

What is deleted: deleting your account removes your login, all of your NexTodo content (tasks, lists, areas, goals, habits, wishes, captures), attached files and images, synced preferences and notification subscriptions. Deletion from our live database happens immediately. Routine backups kept by our database provider are replaced in the normal backup cycle. If you signed in with Apple on iPhone, the app also asks you to confirm with Apple once so that we can ask Apple to revoke NexTodo's Sign in with Apple access.

Because your login is shared with NexPlan, account deletion is paused while you own a NexPlan workspace or have content in someone else's workspace; the app tells you what to do first.

Can't use the app?

Email support@nextodoapp.com from the email address of your NexTodo account with the subject “Delete my NexTodo account”, and say whether you want only your NexTodo data or your whole account deleted. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we delete anything.
